ROOTED MOON
Rooted Moon was born out of a need to create a safe and comforting space for our family in the midst of a pandemic. It has evolved into a collective of holistic home services to support anyone who needs help settling, styling or organizing their home, packing out or creating new rituals and traditions to nurture your health and your heart.
Moving is complex and we believe in the power of creating sacred space and self-care rituals to heal and hold us steady. We're devoted to helping you love where you live so you can ground down with intention and in the process honor and uplift the next version of you and your family. For us, establishing our Kombucha home brew is an important ritual for rooting down into our new home and honoring the health of our family. You can not grow if you are not rooted and we're here to help you prioritize your nesting needs and envision your sanctuary.

Why Kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented, effervescent beverage made from sweetened black or green tea and a specific culture called a SCOBY, a Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast. Kombucha has many health benefits and culinary uses, not to mention it is deeellllliiiiccious! And of its many benefits, it is most well known for being an incredible source of probiotics, antioxidants and vitamins and minerals (including vitamins C, B, B1, B6 and B12!).

For us, Kombucha is a huge symbol of home. Establishing our home brew helps us establish the health of our family and set roots in a new place. The process of brewing is nothing short of magic and it has become a sacred ritual. Like the moon and all symbiotic beings, it is a symbol of our connection to life's infinite cycle as the SCOBY grows, gives life, exhausts itself and begins again.
The moon reminds us that we are all in motion, connected to each other and the natural cycle of life, death and rebirth. Collaborating with this energy, moving with it instead of against it, has become the only way we know how to grow roots and thrive wherever we live and in whichever stage of life we happen to be cycling through.
